Since, I’ve received no complaints (yet) on my last post — The Science of Sex — I’ve found something on this subject that I think is worth adding.
In 2011, the state of Mississippi passed a law that placed restrictions on sex education, specifically there could be no instruction or demonstration on the application of a condom. So if you’re a health teacher, especially one who talks with your hands, what do you do?
An enterprising teacher named Sanford Johnson made a video entitled “How to Put On a Sock” ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=06kT9yfj7QE ), which is entirely within the law. In fact, it’s not unusual to find a YouTube video on the application of socks, but this one seems to be getting some, ah, extra attention.
See what you think.
